Event Info

Join us Sunday, November 2, from 9 AM to 3 PM, for five miles of car-free, open streets connecting South El Monte and El Monte. There’s no official start or finish line, so join the route wherever it works best for you!

Getting to Active Streets: Corazón del Valle

Hub Locations
You can join anywhere along the route, but here are the three main hubs:
  • South El Monte Hub: Santa Anita Avenue between Central and Vacco
  • Downtown El Monte Hub: Main Street between Tyler and Santa Anita
  • Jeff Seymour Family Center Hub: Tyler and Emery
Getting There by Transit
  • Metro Bus, Foothill Transit, and Metrolink all stop at El Monte Station, which connects directly to the route.
  • The Metro A Line (Arcadia Station) is about 4 miles away, roughly a 15-minute bike ride from the north end of the event.
Getting There by Car
  • Street parking is available near the route.
  • Please avoid using private lots unless you are a customer.
  • Since streets will be closed to motor vehicles during the event, plan to park nearby and walk or roll in.
Getting There by Bike
  • Ride in from nearby neighborhoods, the Metro A Line Arcadia Station, or connect via the Rio Hondo River Trail, which offers easy access from Lower Azusa or Valley Boulevard. Bike parking will be available at each hub.
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated, and tax-deductible thanks to non-profit organizer ActiveSGV.
Thank you for your support!
